When you click on your own blog and find its been so long since you last posted that is just showing empty space, you know something is up. :) Anyway, work is still busy, but drastically and thankfully a lot less busy than last month. Trying now to sort out a training plan for the year, wonder if I can get an MCSE bootcamp!!
Concerned is not the word on the news about the ID cards bill tonight. Even the BBC's quick poll, which has had 15,000 votes so far is 75% saying ID cards will not make the UK safer. So what is the point? Oh, so we can live in Orwell's 1984?
I think the no2id site says it all really.
What's the point of the expense? Government IT projects like this always fail and cost billions. Give up now you idiot politicians.

I heard the shadow home secretary say that the amount of money estimated for the rolling out this ID Card is enough to improve existing border, security and police services let alone create a new bloody card to go with all the other frigging ID in me wallet
Would a card have stopped those monkeys bombing the tube? I don't think so.
I blame the IT companies for pushing the issue ;)
