Ok, so as we are matrix managed we have to provide feedback on people we work with. This feedback goes to our line manager, who is normally somebody we don't work for. (see link).
However its very hard to be balanced, especially when you're working with people who often don't pull their weight, preferring to surf the net instead. I think I've achieved it, but why does it take so long.
We're not supposed to do this stuff on weekends, but since it takes me such a long time to put thoughts down, I have to. Technical people shouldn't be asked to be HR types :)
